My wife and I stopped here and ate lunch on our way back from Ridgeland Mississippi. We initially stopped at Murphy USA to get gas. I asked a gentleman that was already there where a good place in town to eat was. He highly recommended this restaurant and bakery. We figured since it was so highly rated by a local that we had to at least give it a shot. Boy are we glad we did! Everything was fantastic the food, the service, the atmosphere, you really can't go wrong. I have tried really hard to think of one negative thing I could possibly say about this place. I just simply cannot. It was phenomenal in every aspect of the word. We had a lovely conversation with the owner and she was just as lovely as the conversation that we had. You can tell that she truly puts her heart and soul into the place. I highly recommend trying anything there. You really can't go wrong with whatever you get it will be delicious!
Best home cooking in Alabama! The meatloaf they serve on Wednesdays is the best you’ll find anywhere. Highly recommended!
Everything was as its name says, Simply Delicious! We had coffee, smoked chicken, okra, rice and gravy, and peach cobbler. Stop in if you’re around or just passing through.
Good was amazing and delicious. Breakfast is to order most days of the week, but on Thursday they do a buffet. Our large party showed up first thing and we're treated with warmth and professionalism.
We were camping nearby and asked about any good local places to eat at an antique shop and they recommended Simply Delicious Bakery & Eatery. Food and portions were great. Everyone was very friendly and the food was great.
Yum! Had the country fried steak, mac n' cheese, mashed potatoes, Mexican cornbread and apple cobbler. They were all (simply) delicious! They knocked every dish out of the park. 10/10 Southern food
So glad we stopped here for lunch. The staff was so welcoming and friendly and the food delicious and reasonably priced. We haven’t had a chance to try the baked goods but they looked delicious. The place is spacious, bathroom was clean, no complaints at all! 5/5
5 STAR !!! 😋 This food is off the chain. Mexican cornbread that will knock your socks off. Catfish very crispy and tender on the inside, well seasoned. Loaded mashed potatoes like you've never had. Very good mac & cheese. Very friendly service and only $13 for lunch. Drink included.
I'm in town today and did an installation for Legacy Hospice Demopolis, Alabama. I asked the lady at the office about a good place to eat here in town and she recommended Simply Delicious. I am so thankful that she did too! They close at 3 o'clock on the weekdays, but I was still greeted at 345pm Very nice lady at the door that said they keep the bakery open until five. She told me if I picked something out they could warm it up we can still eat it here. we have our pups so we're gonna eat outside on the porch. I've met four different ladies who are very kind and helpful. I selected the poppyseed chicken, chicken salad, fire crackers, Red Velvet, cake, and a blueberry cinnamon roll I think. Oh my goodness this place is awesome. Staff is outstanding in the food is absolutely phenomenal. Anytime I come this way. This is gonna be my regular stop! If I lived around here Iwould def put on some extra weight because this stuff is awesome!
Ladies and Gentlemen, it is THAT GOOD. Perfectly seasoned southern food from scratch. Served as a meat/3 Cafe style I saw these giant cakes and then realized they sold them by the slice. The German Chocolate was 🤌! I'm two hours away but stopping every business trip.
